The Blending Lines start with internal day bins, drawing raw materials from silos, totes, or micro hand-add stations, with in-line sifting and magnet detection to ensure food safety.
Bread crumb lines combine dry ingredients with a wet and color ingredient system in a continuous mixer, with a high-speed feed rate.
This is a zero waste to landfill facility, that uses 100% renewable electricity as well as energy-efficient design which is estimated to have a 34% reduction in scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions.
Recipe management is administered not at the plant, but at the corporate level – Kerry can execute an order, sending it to any of its five coatings processing facilities.
