Site Search for Greenfield Bakery

Bauducco Foods, the world’s largest panettone producer, partnered with Dennis Group to establish its first U.S. manufacturing facility. DG provided a comprehensive site search, evaluating over 160 locations across seven states, focusing on factors such as proximity to key markets and raw materials, wastewater pre-treatment requirements, and labor availability. Zephyrhills, Florida, emerged as the optimal choice due to its strategic advantages and supportive business environment.

Dennis Group’s site search experts were able to secure substantial economic incentives, including an initial $2.6 million package and a total of $20 million over time. The selected 72-acre site at the Zephyrhills Airport Industrial Park will host a $200 million facility, developed in three phases, with the first phase expected to be operational by mid-2026. Upon completion, the facility is projected to create approximately 600 jobs, significantly contributing to Bauducco Foods’ U.S. expansion strategy.
