We let engineers be engineers.

We’re looking for exceptional people. People who want to do more, from developing interpersonal and technical skills to getting hands-on experience at manufacturing job sites around the world. People like you.

We’re the largest food and beverage design-build firm in the world, with hundreds of architects, engineers, and construction managers working across North and South America. As a participant in Dennis Group’s Leadership & Engineering Development Program (LED), you’ll learn our business from the inside out. You will be based in São Paulo, rotate through our North American offices, and work on multi-discipline projects of all sizes, from project definition to large-scale greenfield facilities.

We’re offering trainee opportunities in architectural and multiple engineering disciplines. When you join our team, you join a global community developing innovative and sustainable solutions for feeding the world. Now that’s big picture.

What to expect from our LED program

Design and build in Brazil.

Our full-service Brazil office has already worked on many exciting projects, from new lines and expansions to large-scale greenfields producing consumer favorites like beer, spirits, energy drinks, chocolate, candies, and ice cream.

Dive into the details.

We’re looking for engineers and architects who love their work. Our structure means you’ll interact with clients and collaborate with other disciplines. You’ll also be working on projects that impact the business immediately.

On-site and in the office.

Project assignments vary depending on Dennis Group’s project portfolio and trainee disciplines, but always involve both multi-disciplinary in-office design experience and the firsthand, boots-on-the-ground work on a job site.

Keep growing.

We aren’t just looking for candidates with a solid technical background: your ability and enthusiasm to learn and evolve is just as important. Deepen your understanding of your discipline or learn something new through professional development and cross-discipline teamwork.

Stages of the Selection Process

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do I have to live in or move to São Paulo, or can I work remotely?

We expect you to be based in São Paulo, as we follow a hybrid schedule (3 days in the office, 2 days remote). This means all applicants must either live in São Paulo or be willing to relocate in order to be considered.

2. Will the company provide housing support during the program?

Yes. During the LED program, housing and travel costs are covered by the company to support your relocation and ease your transition into the São Paulo office.

3. Where will I be working after the program?

You will be based in the São Paulo Office, but you can expect to travel to work on projects in Brazil and eventually other countries.

4. How long is the job rotation in projects in the U.S.?

It usually lasts up to 6 months.

5. Will I be able to transfer permanently to a U.S. office location?

It’s always a possibility for the mid and long-term, but it depends on the needs of the company and employee performance.

6. Is the LED Program focused on a leadership role?

It is 100% technical. At DG, engineers and architects work hands-on with engineering projects.

7. What position will I have after the program?

At the end of the program, you can expect to become a Project Analyst, working more independently on projects while still receiving close support from a more senior team member.

8. Where will I be allocated in the US during the LED rotation?

It varies for each candidate. We will match each LED with a different job site currently under construction.

9. How does the job rotation work?

During the job rotation you will work within your designated discipline with different activities and projects. For the first months you will be in São Paulo, potentially visiting some clients. For the second half of the year, you will visit an office in the US and then be allocated in a job site to learn how construction and/or commissioning work.

10. Can I change areas?

During the LED program, no. After, there is a possibility depending on the company’s needs and employee performance.

11. During my rotation in the US, can I return to Brazil?

Only under exceptional circumstances. The LED is expected to stay in the US during the entire rotation.
