Ken’s, a family-owned business known for its extensive line of over 60 salad dressing flavors, needed a new production facility. To support long-term growth and operational efficiency, Dennis Group developed a comprehensive design basis for expanding production and process system capacities. The master plan included phased future expansions.

Facility layouts were strategically planned to include dedicated areas for employees, utilities, and processing, with provisions for bulk liquid receiving by rail and truck. Process zones were designed for batch and continuous emulsion systems, starch preparation, sauce cooking, dry ingredient blending, and packaging operations across a range of formats—including high-speed lines for retail glass, foodservice, bulk tubs, and portion-controlled products.

During implementation, Dennis Group provided full mechanical, electrical, and environmental design services, facilitated permitting, and coordinated closely with architectural, structural, and civil teams. Key features of the project included segregated waste streams and rigorous sanitary design standards to ensure compliance, safety, and product integrity.
