New Salad Processing Plant

Bama, one of Norway’s oldest privately-owned trading enterprises, is the market leader for fresh fruit, vegetables, potatoes, berries and freshly squeezed juices and smoothies. They needed to develop a new facility for processing fresh-cut vegetables, and enlisted Dennis Group based on our experience with similar projects in North America.

Site development of the 2.5-acre parcel was challenged by its location adjacent to an infilled fjord. Speed-to-market was essential, and this project was fast, by all measures. The team went from design to saleable product in seven months. The facility and process construction portion of the project was accomplished in an astounding 153 days, with groundbreaking occurring in February in Norway. That’s as fast-track as they come!
