Daisy Brand, the nation’s largest manufacturer of sour cream, enlisted Dennis Group to design and build their first plant on the eastern side of the country—the location chosen for its high concentration of dairy farms and access to rail service, Lake Erie and the Ohio River, and major highways.
Phase I involved the design-build of a greenfield facility dedicated to sour cream production. Subsequent expansions significantly increased capacity across processing, packaging, cold storage, and milk receiving—growing from five to fifty-five truckloads of milk per day.
Now totaling approximately 800,000 square feet, the Wooster plant is one of several major greenfield and expansion projects Dennis Group has completed for Daisy Brand nationwide.
